Network Operations Manager

Key Role:
Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance activities within a network operations center while managing operations and help desk support staff. Maintain responsibility for the design, implementation, sustainability, and deployment of system enhancements and upgrades to the system infrastructure. Support maintenance activities, including evaluation, integration, fielding, administration, testing, and operations of networks, systems, and subsystems. Work closely with both clients to plan for future system enhancements and to design current requirements into the infrastructure. Ensure system performance metrics are being met and provide regular status and operational updates to all stakeholders. Oversee upgrades and troubleshoot system issues as they arise. Interface with engineering and development teams to determine software requirements and manage upgrade and release schedules.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with one or more of the following technologies and products: VMware vCenter Server and ESXi, Windows-based systems, Amazon Web Services, Remedy, network switches and routers, next generation firewalls, security appliances, storage arrays, tape libraries, or various supporting software applications and programs
-Ability to engineer, design, and develop solutions to technical and process challenges and lead staff
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with staff, management, and clients effectively

-Active Secret clearance
-CCNA, MCSE, VCP, CISSP, or AWS SA Certification preferred
