Network Programmer

Key Role:

Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Perform software design and operating architecture integration on a selection of computer systems. Leverage knowledge of one or more systems, platforms, and programming languages. Works under general to little supervision. Assist with training junior software engineering staff.


Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with developing software for networking systems and architectures

-Knowledge of C, C++, Java programming languages, socket programming, DNS, and various routing techniques and protocols

-Ability to comprehend a network design and develop an architecture, including software to allow systems and platforms to communicate with each other in a tactical environment

-Secret clearance

-BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with multi-cast networking protocols and OSI layers

-Knowledge of tactical hub routers, machine learning, and cognitive learning environments

-BS degree in an Engineering field

-CCNA or CCIA Certification


Clearance:
