Networks Requirements Analyst

Key Role:

Provide IT network and program requirements analysis to support Navy’s alignment to DoD network architecture, including Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN), Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), Joint Information Environment (JIE), Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS), and Navy enterprise-wide networks and data centers. Research technical requirements and capabilities of Navy’s networks, and provide detailed analysis of technical and funding requirements to senior Navy leadership within OPNAV N2N6. Perform detailed financial analysis to provide assessments of network capabilities and requirements to support and defend Navy network investments during each phase of the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) cycle. Participate in planning and support of Navy and DoD IT meetings to assess policy, requirements, and financial data to accurately present Navy positions to senior Navy leaders to inform critical decisions on network strategy, requirements, policy, and investments. Interface and liaison with numerous Navy and DoD IT network stakeholders, including coordinating, leading, and participating in stakeholder meetings, and collecting and analyzing Navy network requirements. This position is located in Arlington, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience working in a professional environment

-Experience with IT network requirements, including Navy or DoD network

-Experience in PPBE and requirements generation process

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Power Point and Excel 

-Active Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with Navy or Service staff as military, civilian, or consultant, including Joint Staff, OPNAV, and Navy Systems Commands

-Experience with DoD and Navy IT policies, technical and network requirements, and architecture

-Ability to develop and brief material to senior client leadership to support decision-making

-Ability to contribute in a team-oriented environment

-Ability to work independently, collaboratively and creatively

-Possession of excellent technical, analytic and communication skills to lead client initiatives

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree

Clearance:
