Office Coordinator

Key Role:

Perform office management and coordination duties for senior-level DoD clients. Work using intuitive judgment and knowledge to supply requested information, schedule appointments, prepare special reports, and obtain information from sources within or outside of the organization. Monitor equipment and facilities proactively and resolve any issues that may arise from broken equipment. Apply the continuous use of technical and business vocabulary and detailed knowledge of the organization's operations, organizational procedures, and personnel. Monitor the status of senior leader tasks to ensure timely and efficient review and routing of agency documents. Make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work within established guidelines. Maintain progressive responsibility for organizing reports, preparing travel orders and expense reports, and providing assistance to all members of a technical team, as required. Leverage expertise in dealing with the public.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in an administrative professional role

-Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Ability to work a 7:30AM-4:00PM shift in Arlington, VA

-Secret clearance required

-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to provide excellent customer service, work as a member of a team, and perform other duties, as assigned

-Ability to perform receptionist duties, including escorting, processing administrative packages, and answering phones

-Ability to use the Defense Travel System (DTS)

-Ability to put documents into the proper format

-Possession of excellent spelling and grammar skills

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
