Office Services Specialist

Key Role:

Provide professional business office management support to a government research and development client in a fast-paced environment. Provide administrative-level program and project office support, including analysis, report writing, action tracking, and other administrative functions, such as videoconferencing setup. Analyze and update program documents and expenditure reports, organize and maintain electronic records, communicate with the organization on announcement or administrative data calls effectively, prepare and process various forms, and prepare briefings. Use technology-driven approaches to ongoing work processes and work independently, cooperatively, and collaboratively with various levels of staff. Apply judgment and organizational, critical thinking, time management, interpersonal communication, and expertise in customer service. Independently develop briefings on various matters for senior client staff independently and coordinate Tier 1 and 2 desktop support requests. Coordinate onboarding of federal and contractor staff, including IT needs, security and badging, and orientation and track action items accordingly. This position is located on the client site in Washington, DC.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience in a professional office environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Experience in a client environment

-Experience with arranging meetings, conferences, and video teleconferences

-Experience with executive scheduling using Microsoft Outlook 

-Experience with HR a plus

-Ability to edit and perform quality control of reports, presentations, directives, and correspondence

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability and work in a collaborative team environment
-Ability to be proactive a plus

-Possession of excellent client service skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
