On-Orbit Launch Integrator, Senior

Key Role:

Provide systems engineering and integration (SE&I) support to a key National Security Space (NSS) client for the ascent, initial, and sustained acquisition of spacecraft. Provide a broad range of technical, programmatic, planning, and execution of Launch and Early Orbit (LEO) support, including Air Force integration with launch processes, readiness reviews, rehearsal coordination, CONOPS development, and mission planning for on–console satellite contact support. Provide independent assessment of LEO launch team readiness. Provide ascent telemetry collection, orbital trajectory analysis, and early orbit acquisition contingency support. Deliver sustained day–to–day mission readiness for network operations following space vehicle separation and nominal Air Force operations for initialization activities. Analyze the development of US government policy on Air Force employment. Support the integration of user requirements into acquisition and operations activities.

Basic Qualifications: 

-7+ years experience with on–orbit satellite operations and booster launch events 

-Experience with satellite telemetry, tracking, and commanding 

-Experience with the Air Force 

-Experience with TT&C software and Air Force interface hardware 

-Experience with expendable launch vehicle systems

-Experience with the aerospace hardware and software systems engineering life cycle, including design, development, verification and validation, integration, test, and implementation management

-Experience with technical project management 

-Experience with engineering

-TS/SCI clearance  

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with briefing and writing authoritative technical documents, including reports and position papers 

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

-Knowledge of the client’s organizational structure 

-Ability to multi–task and adapt to changing priorities, procedures, and IT tools 

-Ability to interact well with cross–functional team meetings and professional environments 

-Ability to interface with internal and external clients 

-Ability to perform analysis and assessment 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred 

-BA or BS degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific field
