Open Source Intelligence Analyst

Key Role:

Provide intelligence analysis and all aspects of information gathering, research, threat assessments, client development, and predictive analysis as part of a Special Operations Forces analytical team. Research, develop, and present Publicly Available Information intelligence products at the operational and tactical levels for senior leaders. Interface with intelligence organizations to produce analytical products and assessments supporting targeting efforts, human intelligence and exploitation operations, and threat analysis. Analyze, evaluate, interpret, and disseminate information on political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, or scientific conditions and trends. Fuse Publicly Available Information for multi-intelligence product development, including outlining regional and ideological discussions in specific foreign language media environments.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with analytics in government agencies

-5 years of experience with working at the operational level

-Experience with using current intelligence-related automation, applications, tools, and databases to support analytical efforts and product development

-Experience with (F3EAD) targeting methodology and leading analytical efforts culminating in products

-Experience with the following analytical areas: regional analysis, geo-political analysis, human or signal intelligence analysis, and collection management

-Knowledge of social media applications and all aspects of open source research, including methodologies and systems

-Ability to hold a valid passport to travel overseas

-Ability to pass the client’s pre-deployment screening requirements to be considered deployable, maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty or combat zones, including to a theater of operations with permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED
