Operational Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Planner

Key Role:

Conduct analysis, provide recommendations, and support staff planning for the development and integration of Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) support plans into operational plans. Review crisis and contingency response concepts of operations and draft functional C4 policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and annexes to component-level contingency plans and steady-state campaign plans. Support component-level participation in Combatant Command and Service C4 conferences, working groups, and staff processes to align service capabilities and activities with Joint and service strategic objectives. Develop decision-support products to inform senior-leader decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in cross-functional C4 planning, including conducting large C4 events requiring coordination with multiple organizations and departments

-3+ years of experience as high-level headquarters staff in any branch of military

-Ability to manage planning efforts of multiple events simultaneously

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint, developing PowerPoint slides, and presenting to or briefing senior leadership

-Experience with integrating Cyber operations into C4 plans
-Experience with writing operational plans for C4 systems

-Experience with DoD and international organizations

-Knowledge of Joint and USMC C4 doctrine and capabilities

-Knowledge of Marine Corps roles, missions, capabilities, and structures

-Knowldge of the Marine Corps and Joint planning processes

-Knowledge of aviation C2 architecture

-Completion of Professional Military Education, including Expeditionary Warfare School, Command and Staff College, School of Advanced Warfare, Naval Post Graduate School, or equivalent
