Operational Energy Analyst

Key Role:

Analyze current and pending energy policies to assist federal program clients in understanding market impacts and needs to modify federal programming. and use detailed understanding of technical, business, market, and policy landscape related to one or more disciplines around energy efficiency, fossil energy and renewable energy to assist clients with strategic and tactical solutions. Applies knowledge of financing mechanisms, federal, state, and local policies, and best practice benchmarks to assist clients in solving challenges related to compliance, business case selling, and outreach. Developing consulting skills and expertise to deliver high-quality work products to support projects. May guide the activities of others on a set of defined tasks. Assignments offer ever-increasing levels of responsibility and client interaction, while deepening expertise. Ability to prioritize deliverables and work independently with little guidance. Begin offer solutions and new ideas and to identify opportunities to grow existing business or support firm wide initiatives. Interact regularly with clients and may be called upon to present work products to clients.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in the energy field

-Experience with contingency basing, logistics, military operations and planning, integrated basic utility, and structure series in remote locations

-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including editing and updating documents

-Knowledge of the DoD's organization and structure

-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with OSD, Service staff, or Joint staff

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Top Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree in Operational Research or Analysis, Military Sciences, Engineering, or a scientific, technical, or management field


Clearance:
