Operational Enterprise Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Support the TRADOC Architecture Integration and Management Division (AIMD) and lead the development DoDAF “Fit-for-Purpose” Models or Viewpoints, including All Viewpoints, Operational Viewpoints, Capability Viewpoints, Data and Information Viewpoints, Systems Viewpoints, Services Viewpoints, and Project Viewpoints as part of an Integrated Architecture initiative, as necessary. Support the Army's Force Management process through the documentation of Army Force Structure and equipment assignments, extract data from enterprise architecture artifacts, and tailor for presentation to analysts, senior leadership, and other decision-making organizations. Facilitate architecture and IT investment management meetings. Ensure the integration of enterprise architecture information and processes with operations, change management, configuration management, and service management processes. Analyze client requirements against enterprise architecture artifacts and available enterprise services, ensuring alignment with client's strategic direction and Army and DoD policies and guidance. Leverage experience with and knowledge of a DoD environment with in the fields of systems engineering and architecture analysis. Comprehend, analyze, synchronize, and influence military concepts to enhance operational capabilities. Communicate these concepts and capabilities to Army leadership in support of architecture development and comprehend architecture development and implementation activities using DoDAF 2.0.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
-Experience with tactical deployment, employment, or the sustainment of military units
-Knowledge of concepts driving the introduction of new capabilities in military force structure across DOTMLPF
-Knowledge of Army Force Structure and Force Management

-Ability to conduct analysis of new material solutions for military forces
-Ability to comprehend military concepts to enhance operational capabilities
-Active Secret clearance required
-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience in the Army or military

-Experience with Object-Oriented and UML modeling
-Experience with OIF, OEF, or other combat
-Experience with Army Fires or Signal
-Experience with operational, systems, or network analyses

-Knowledge of the JCIDS process
-BA or BS degree preferred

-Enterprise or DoDAF Architecture Certification
