Operations and Administrative Services Officer

Key Role:

Serve as an operations officer and administrative services officer for Army clients, and providing Systems of Systems Engineering and Integration (SoSE&I), preparing briefing charts, documents and materials that support operational functions for the organization. Manage acquisition workforce development programs for (SoSE&I) directorate related to the DoD Acquisition Workforce Development Fund (DAWDF). Develop request, manage all programs, and provide all status reports, spend plans, training demographics, hiring matrices and funding requests, including monthly reports and for bi-annual reports to congress, as detailed in the ASC monthly status meeting or associated guidance. Coordinate with internal leadership and external agencies, including the Acquisition Support Center (ASC) and Program Executive Offices (PEO's), as necessary to carry out the execution of the programs. Provide backup support for the Defense Travel System (DTS) point of contact. Collect data and generate information on military, core, matrix and contractor personnel, and provide data maintenance, accuracy updates, and access management for the manpower database and software, the Manpower Information Retrieval and Reporting System (MIRARS) Database, regularly. Assist other operations officers, as needed.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with Human Resources, Learning Development or Workforce Development

-2+ consecutive years of experience within the last ten years with the development and configuration of databases with 10,000 or more information items 

-2+ years of experience with analyzing problems, conducting research, summarizing results, and making recommendations, preparing reports, documents and presenting results on complex, multi-faceted projects

-1+ years of experience with the last ten years with workforce development

-Secret clearance

-BS or BA degree


Additional Qualifications:

-BS degree Human Resources, Learning Development, or Workforce Development

-Experience with Army PEO or PM support

-Knowledge of SharePoint

-Knowledge of Defense Travel System


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
