Operations Intelligence Planner, Senior

Key Role:
Assist a client with supporting USSTRATCOM, USPACOM, and USEUCOM in the development of space protection annexes or attachments focused on CONPLAN 8035 and OPLANs 8011 or 8012. Assist the client planning team with integrating space capabilities into Combatant Command OPLANs and CONPLANs by discovering and providing highly focused intelligence products to guide the planning effort. Plan to fully integrate emerging space protection strategies into usable products for space operators, Combatant Commands, operational planners, and others, as needed. Assess threat impacts to the mission, identify protection and threat defeat options, recommend intelligence supportability for proposed material and non-material solutions, and discover and provide intelligence products for the planning team’s requirement of developing and supporting the implementation of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and courses of actions (COAs) for operational mission areas, as appropriate. Support wargames, exercises, and operational space protection issues, as required and provide intelligence tradecraft to integrate national- and service-level intelligence with the client's operational planning requirements. Maintain responsibility for conducting research on potential threats, working with the client's engineering staff to develop threat system engineering details with sufficient fidelity for threat analysis, supporting the development of space protection courses of action, and coordinating and submitting intelligence requirements for client activities.

Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with AF space capabilities
-Knowledge of how to work across the intelligence community (IC) to request, develop, acquire, and distribute accurate intelligence reporting and products to support a project manager’s requirements
-Knowledge of COLISEUM, SMART, CSRP collection requirements, MRS, HOTR, and additional IC production and collection requirement systems required
-Knowledge of IC agencies’ charters, where to go within the agencies to get answers, and collaborate with IC analysts required
-Knowledge of how to apply critical reasoning expertise to acquiring intelligence and developing input into actionable products for project planners required
-TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with how to access and pull relevant information from over 100 IC databases during a technology, tactics, adversary or technical Blue Force systems investigation preferred
-Experience with Combatant Command war planning
-Experience with the Joint targeting cycle
-Experience with working in special access program (SAP) or special access required (SAR) environments
-Experience as a technical operations planner
-Knowledge of Joint Publications 2-0 Intelligence Operations, 3-0 Joint Operations and 5-0 Joint Planning
-Ability to interface with senior government leadership
-BA or BS degree
