Operations Lead

Key Role:

Serve as an operations lead and maintain responsibility for the co–management of 300+ staff and subcontractors located at multiple client locations. Maintain responsibility for supporting the management of operations and coordination of clients supply chain. Maintain responsibility for working with clients to define and execute standard processes supporting client logistics demands for inventory movement and event scheduling for more than 12,000 events and 200,000 products. Serve as a problem solver using structured methods of problem solving and manage and support management with multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Support the development of strategic, operational, and tactical plans and define opportunities for improvement for the client’s operations. Support the development and structured analysis of client’s operations. Develop and write technical reports, analysis, and whitepapers, lead and support internal and external client meetings and presentations, provide oversight to junior staff, and manage projects, including analysis and reports

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in managing or supporting large–scale, client facing projects with 70-100 employees

-Experience in working with the US Army, US Navy, Marine Corp, or US Air Force as a logistician, logistics specialist, or operations lead in a support contractor role

-Ability to demonstrate subject matter expertise in operations, supply chain management, or workforce deployment
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with leading the operations of supply chain–related projects

-Experience with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Transition Assistance Program (TAP)

-Knowledge of the application of the Six Sigma Black Belt methodology

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree in STEM, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree in Operations Management or Business a plus

-Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
