Operations Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Provide direct support to meet CCMD strategic and operational level objectives as part of the JFHQ-FWD (EUCOM) staff. Coordinate with JFHQ-C (AFCYBER), JFHQ-DoDIN, and other CYBERCOM components, as required. Provide direct support to meet CCMD operational and tactical level objectives as part of the JFHQ-FWD (EUCOM) staff. Develop and refine Cyberspace plans and strategies. Develop planning, integration, execution, and coordination of full spectrum Cyberspace operations, including DoDIN, DCO, and OCO in strategic plans developed across regional stakeholders and parent organizations, including respective JFHQ-C and JFHQ-DoDIN. Develop Cyberspace objectives and effects. Interpret all relevant data to formulate and present senior level briefings on possible adversary objectives and their use of Cyberspace capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

-10+ years of experience with operational and technical military in planning, developing, coordinating, and executing United States Air Force (USAF) or other Services participation in Command, Service, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and Combatant Command (CCMD) operations, exercises, demonstrations, and experiments

-5+ years of experience as part of an AFCYBER, sister service component, or commercial DCO crew

-Experience with Measures of Performances (MOPs) to evaluate task performance at all levels of war and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) to determine progress of operations toward achieving objectives

-Knowledge of the Review and Approval Authority Process for Cyber Operations

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoDI 8570 Level II Certification, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with documenting network ontologies, data models, schemas, formats, data element dictionaries, software applications program interfaces, and other technical specifications

-Experience in an Air Operations Center (AOC), Operations Center (OC), or other service component operational level

-Experience as staff at the Numbered Air Force level or above

-Experience in network infrastructure, Cyberspace vulnerabilities analysis, and DCO planning support

-Knowledge of the Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), or Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
