Operations Research Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Work as a lead operations research systems analyst, including supporting, constructing, and maintaining a comprehensive assessment and analysis capability to support Joint electromagnetic operations. Analyze and apply a variety of data collection and decision analytics processes, including employment of mathematical, statistical, survey design, modeling and simulation, and other analytic methods combined with military judgment to solve complex operational and planning challenges related to electronic warfare. Provide actionable, clearly communicated recommendations to support client strategic planning and operational decisions. Develop and use operational assessment information displays, decision briefings, and analytical papers and support planning teams directly to enable operational planning and facilitate senior leadership decisions.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with supporting or executing data building, data queries, modeling, or programming of complex analytical methods to support military applications

-Experience with leveraging varying data methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses

-Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access at a high level

-Experience with preparing and presenting senior leadership briefings

-Active TS/SCI clearance required

-BS degree in Science, Technology, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Command and Control Research, or Mathematics or 6+ years of experience with operational research or assessment


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with developing and executing a data collection and analysis plan or equivalent for a government exercise or test event

-Experience with quick reaction testing a plus

-Experience with Joint planning, Joint operations, Joint intelligence, and expeditionary operations a plus

-Experience in the USINDOPACOM or EUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) a plus

-Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW) operations

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Completion of Command and General Staff College or Service equivalent a plus
