Operations Research Analyst

Key Role:
Serve as an operational and strategic planner to allocate, synchronize, and phase in, at the appropriate time and juncture, ISR assets with COCOM theater and campaign plans for deliberate and crisis action. Comprehend ISR assets inherent in and associated with a CNAF, NAF, AOC, Wings, and below. Conduct strategic planning to integrate Air Force operations and assets with the various parts of an AOC. Tie the airborne and ground ISR infrastructure and resources into OPLANs and CONPLANs. Leverage experience with MAJCOM, CNAF, or COCOM staff, having served in the A3, J3, A5, or J5. Apply experience as an aviation or space–focused operator and pilot, electronic warfare officer, or navigator. Demonstrate expertise in Cyber operations or planning.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with Air Force operations, flight, space, or Cyber, shaping ISR planning, collection, and dissemination

-5+ years of experience in senior leadership or management roles

-5+ years of experience with integrating ISR, AF DCGS Enterprise, or AF AOC operations and assets into warplanning

-Experience with operational planning in a warfighting HQs, including Air Force, Joint–COCOM, CNAF, or AOC

-Experience with developing solutions for complex, integrated systems

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with airborne ISR platforms, either in operations or fusing products into larger operations and theater and campaign planning

-Experience with working in a warfighting staff or NAF staff

-Knowledge of an Electronic Warfare environment preferred

-Knowledge of industry systems development life cycle methodologies

-Ability to seek out and apply innovative solutions to solving ISR planning challenges

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree preferred

-School of Advanced Air and Space Studies graduate or a similar program preferred

-Previous Command or Graduate of a Weapon School
