Instructional Technologist

Key Role:

Study human behavior and performance within the flying squadron and through the application of derived principles of individual, group, and organizational behavior, applying this knowledge to the solution of problems identified within the squadron. Advise the client of organizational development, attitudes, career development, decision theory, human performance and human factors, consumer behavior, small group theory and process, criterion theory and development, job and task analysis, individual assessment, ethical considerations, and published Air Force Instructions and guidance related to activities in the workplace. Optimize the recruitment, selection and placement, training and development, performance measurement, workplace motivation and reward systems, quality of work life, structure of work and human factors, and organizational development within the client organization. Identify training and development needs, design and optimize job and quality of work life, formulate and implement training programs, courseware, and syllabi, evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives, and develop criteria to evaluate performance of individuals and organizations.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in an organizational behavior field

-Knowledge of adult learning facilitation and instructional design

-Ability to travel internationally

-Secret clearance

-BS or BA degree and 5+ years experience in an organizational behavior field OR MBA, MA, or MS degree and 3+ years experience in an organizational behavior field

Additional Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in training

-Experience with change management and general consulting

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

-PhD degree

-PMP or ISD Certification
