Organizational Change Specialist

Key Role:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. Provide and execute change management plans and strategies at the facility- and VISN-level. Support the enterprise change management specialist in all planning and execution taskings. Establish a document and artifact repository and define, implement, and effect change control. Establish and maintain a common program calendar for change management activities. Document action items, key outcomes from meetings, and meeting summary notes and track actions to closure.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with organizational assessment and evaluation, organizational design, or development of leadership and management expertise

-Knowledge of business processes or treatment protocols

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office

-Ability to act as a liaison to providers and facilities to support the effective execution of change management processes

-Ability to recommend changes and enhancements to current healthcare practices, guidelines, and processes based upon expertise in supply chain healthcare delivery systems

-BA or BS degree or RN or PharmD in Healthcare, Nursing, or Pharmacology required

Additional qualifications:

-Experience with leading at least one large-scale transformation, change initiative, or IT systems project successfully a plus

-MA or MS degree and 10-15 years of experience in a professional work environment
