Organizational Design Consultant

Key Role:

Work with organizations to redesign business processes. Provide clients with management consulting on organization redesign and new business processes. Provide clients with consulting on other effects of new business processes. Leverage expertise in the industry, including supply chain management, CRM, or call center architecture. Initiate and maintain client relationships, including anticipating and identifying client issues and concerns and proposing advice, as appropriate. Supervise and review the work of junior personnel. Leverage expertise in business analysis, strategic problem solving, and clients' businesses.


Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with a management or IT consulting firm

-4+ years of experience with industry methods for organizational design, process improvement, organizational change management, or performance optimization, including managerial roles over staff

-3+ years of experience with the facilitation of process improvement or business or organizational transformation workshops, sessions, and off-sites

-Experience with designing, coordinating, and deploying qualitative and quantitative data collection and analyses

-Experience with business development, whitepaper development, and new intellectual capital development

-Ability to be a self-starter, team player, and leader in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the US and work up to 100% of the time alongside clients at locations in the National Capital Region

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree required


Additional Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with organizational design, business process reengineering, organizational change management, strategic communications, Lean Six Sigma, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, performance management, or overhead optimization

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Excel

-Possession of excellent data gathering and analysis skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Business, Management, Economics, Government, Political Science, or Industrial Engineering preferred; MA or MS degree a plus

-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP Certifications
