Performance Management Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Work with organizations to assess their strengths, weaknesses, and their future based on qualitative and quantitative performance and data. Provide clients with management consulting on performance management, organization redesign, and new business processes. Provide clients with consulting on other effects of new strategic priorities, new mission operations, or new business processes. Anticipate and identify client issues and concerns and propose advice, as appropriate. Supervise and review the work of junior personnel. Apply expertise in clients’ businesses and act as the primary contact with clients in the field.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience at a consulting firm or company conducting performance management, data modeling and analysis, organizational analysis, strategic planning, or process and operations optimization, including managerial roles over staff

-2+ years of experience in facilitating performance management workshops with clients that range from action officer to senior leaders

-Experience with developing, coordinating, and deploying qualitative and quantitative data collection and analyses

-Ability to communicate recommendations, rationale, analyses, and business development ideas effectively both orally and in writing

-Ability to develop new intellectual capital and whitepapers for business development

-Ability to travel within the United States 50% of the time and within the National Capitol Region 100% of the time

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with conducting performance management, strategic planning, process improvement, or qualitative and quantitative data analysis work

-Experience with data visualization and analytical tools, including Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and Access

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Business, Operations Research, Economics, Political Science, or Industrial Engineering preferred; MA or MS degree in Business, Operations Research, Economics, Political Science, or Industrial Engineering a plus

-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and PMP Certifications
