Personnel Psychologist, Senior

Key Role:
Provide technical expertise, consultation, and direct support for personnel assessment, selection, and classification. Design complex, stratified samples and apply pre- and post-stratification weighting to account for differential selection and response probabilities. Apply expertise in personnel psychology to advise decision makers on organizational recruiting, selection, and retention policies. Apply item response theory (IRT), structural equation modeling, factor analysis, and other multivariate mathematical modeling techniques to designing, conducting, and documenting personnel selection and classification studies. Develop and validate selection, including classification, such as interest inventories and opinion survey instruments in paper, computer-based, and computer-adaptive formats. Administer selection and classification tests and non-cognitive instruments, including interest inventories and opinion surveys.

Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with survey design and analysis and personnel selection, classification, and retention research and operations
-Experience with R data analysis tools
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-SAS, SUDAAN, or SPSS Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with the DoD
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
-PhD degree in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Personnel Psychology, or a related field
