Personnel Security Policy Manager

Key Role:

Serve as the lead security specialist for the firm’s personnel security policies. Research current and evolving national and federal agency level policies and related laws. Coordinate with federal policy makers and customers to develop and author firm-wide specific policies and procedures to ensure compliance, consistency and efficiency. Assess impediments to clearance processing and advise senior firm leadership on solutions and approaches to eliminate those impediments. Support and oversee personnel security transformational efforts that align with government future plans.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience in Personnel Security and Industrial Security Policy

-Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations, National Industrial Security Policy Operating Manual, intelligence community directives, and DoD personnel security policies and procedures

-Experience in the development, drafting and publication of security policies for a large cleared firm or federal agency

-Knowledge of the federal security clearance background investigation and adjudication processes across various agencies

-Ability to anticipate future government policy and legislative changes

-TS/SCI clearance is required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with relevant Industry and Government working groups

-Ability to negotiate positive outcomes and offer clear and convincing recommendations for policy and procedural changes

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
