Pharmaceutical Drug Supply Chain Policy and Regulation Specialist

Key Role:

Serve as a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical drug supply chain policies and regulations to help lead the business requirements gathering as the client undergoes a transformation and modernization in the drug supply chain track and trace. Maintain responsibility for comprehending the policy impacts of the newly developed Drug Quality and Security Act as it relates to the regulatory implementation of the new standards in supply chain technologies. Integrate with the development team to define requirements, clarify questions, and assist with testing or coordinating activities across the team to ensure compliance as the client implements technologies supporting the Drug Quality and Security Act. This position is located on client site in the White Oak, MD area.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in working with pharmaceutical drug supply chain policies and regulations

-Experience with clarifying requirements using business process models, mockups, and use case diagrams

-Experience in working with enterprise systems and their governance structures, including SDLC, enterprise frameworks, and change control boards

-Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Visio

-Knowledge of current and upcoming drug supply chain implementations and policies

-Knowledge of current drug supply chain policies, operations, risks, and practical solutions to implementing practices that adhere to regulatory requirements

-Ability to research and work collaboratively on existing and upcoming regulatory changes to fully comprehend policies and their impacts to larger supply chain tracking systems

-Ability to perform gap analyses and road mapping to address deficiencies in implementation of new supply chain technologies

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to guide enterprise solution development and work with a development team to coordinate priorities and perform impact assessments

-Ability to be detail-oriented and speak clearly via all channels, including phone, email, in-person, and written deliverables

-Ability to recommend procedures when coordinating between systems development teams
