Physical Security Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for reviewing and assessing the Construction Security Plan (CSP) and the overall physical security system and its ability to detect, delay, and provide response to applicable threats. Assess the protection of critical assets at a level commensurate with the criticality of the missions. Maintain responsibility for assessing and providing technical expertise of the overarching security of the client program. Plan and review the client program’s CSP to ensure that security objectives are met to ensure the success of the program. Determine whether measures are taken to screen out unauthorized personnel and vehicles and whether the measures are sufficient and effective. Evaluate in-place reaction and response force planning, management, capabilities, available equipment, manning, and training. Incorporate all client specialty areas as they tie into the overall security assessment, including adjustments that should be made to mitigate or correct vulnerabilities found by all team members.

Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with operations in the military or other comparable civilian security or law enforcement position

-Experience with developing CSP for complex military construction projects or programs

-Experience with military construction for a wide variety of mission critical infrastructure, including network and data centers, telecommunications systems, airfields, intrusion detection systems, nuclear weapons security systems, forward operating bases, and the defense industrial base

-Knowledge of Air Force and Joint DoD security directives

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in Security or Law Enforcement

Additional Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with military or comparable civilian position in the areas of security management, operations, anti-threats, and physical security system analysis

-Experience with CBRNE detection systems, programs, and capabilities

-Knowledge of all DoD Mission Assurance Programs and requirements

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in a related field
