PKI Engineer, Junior

Key Role:

Conduct a variety of engineering tasks related to the development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems. Ensure integration of processes of methodologies to ensure performance of the total system. Leverage expertise in a variety of technical disciplines, including electronics, software, mathematical, and scientific specialties. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments on a limited basis. Perform work closely managed, involving limited problem-solving and following standardized practices and procedures. Interface with the supervisor or manager and other professionals in the work group.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience in the implementation of PKI solutions
-Experience with performing Tier I and Tier II incident and problem management related to PKI certificates
-Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and user certificate enrollment
-Experience with installing, managing, and troubleshooting PKI middleware COTS solutions
-Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam
-AA or AS degree and 4+ years of experience with IT systems administration and engineering, including responsibilities related to maintaining high systems availability and secure systems posture, such as patching and maintenance or BA or BS degree and 2+ years of experience with IT systems administration and engineering
-DoD 8570 baseline security certification, including Security+, CASP, CISSP, or CISM or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with developing and enhancing operational procedures and new innovative solutions to address current and emerging IT challenges
-Knowledge of ITIL change managements and problem management best practices
-Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent team collaboration skills
-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Network Engineering
-Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Server 2012, 2012R2, or 2016, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Server 2012, 2012R2, or 2016 Certification
-ITILv3 Foundations Certification


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
