Plans Analyst/Regional Campaign Planner, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as the SME for the Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and for all Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX) activities, including the Guidance for Employment of the Force (GEF) and the Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan (JSCP). Serve as the Branch CWMD SME for DoD-wide reviews of HQ USCENTCOM campaign and contingency plans with the Joint Planning Execution Community. Leverage CWMD expertise to Operational Planning Teams, the Command Planning Board, and the Joint Operations Center (JOC) for planning and execution of all CWMD missions. Maintain responsibility for developing and making CWMD-related recommendations to the Unified Command Plan, the National Strategy for CWMD, and the National Military Strategy for CWMD. Develop, review, and publish all CWMD-related DoD publications, instructions, and directives. Coordinate, develop, and present CWMD plans briefings up to, and including the HQ USCENTCOM Combatant Commander. Integrate CWMD plans operations, actions, and activities into the Regional CWMD Campaign Plan and relevant contingency plans, including highly classified compartmented plans. 

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with DoD organizations and agencies

-Experience with operations and supporting a Combatant Command Headquarters or other government agency headquarters

-Experience as a senior-level professional on a multi-disciplinary team

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in Security and 8+ years of experience with WCMD or MA or MS degree or 5 years of experience with CWMD

Additional Qualifications:

-Graduate of Military Planning School, including School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or equivalent preferred
