Plans and Operational Directorate Coordination Analyst Lead

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats or homeland security. Determine procedures for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform or direct scientific and technical intelligence analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results. Provide work leadership for lower level employees.


Basic Qualifications:

-20 years of experience in the military

-10 years of experience with the Army at the executive level, including 3 Star and above

-5+ years of experience with Army brigade staff or higher

-5+ years of experience with serving on military staffs or commands, including Joint Staff, COCOM, HQDA, TRADOC, FORSCOM, ARCIC, MARFORCOM, HQMC, MCCDC or MCWL, OPNAV, FFC, NWDC, or HAF or ACC staff

-Experience with service concept and capability development and Combat Training Center, Red Flag, Green Flag, Naval, or Marine Corps exercise, participant, observer, or staff

-Experience with COCOM, Service Component, or Service HQ in CONPLAN or OPLAN development

-Ability to conduct high-level strategic assessments of military posture and capabilities for near- and long-term analysis

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC)


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of integrating the Army’s capabilities with other services, US government agencies, academia, and industry

-Ability to address senior officers at the Colonel level or above

-Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems

-Possession of excellent writing and critical thinking skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


Clearance:
