Platform Solutions Architect

Key Role:
Conduct systems analysis and programming activities for the development, maintenance, or installation of computer programs to support Air Force events. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles. Solve uniquely complex problems while working under consultative direction. Speak for the organization to internal or external customers and work on long-range programs and objectives. Provide advice to the organization in the area of expertise.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or other Cloud native development 
-Experience as a J2EE developer, including Cloud expertise
-Experience with Cloud development, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
-Experience with tools and components that include Jmeter, Sonar, Nexus IQ, Maven, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Splunk, and Appdynamics
-Experience with leading or working as part of an Agile development team
-Experience in production systems and dealing with production issues
-Knowledge of Cloud service and deployment models
-Ability to design, build and deploy Cloud-based applications
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree or 4+ years of experience with Cloud development

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with OpenStack, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
-Experience with the installation, configuration, and management of a Pivotal Cloud Foundry
-Experience with using Pivotal command line interface, including deploying, managing, and scaling application using Pivotal Cloud Foundry
-Experience with migrating existing applications to a Pivotal Cloud Foundry to modernize current applications and improve application architecture techniques
-Experience with Chef, Puppet, BOSH, or related automation or orchestration tools
-Experience with a platform as a service product, including Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
-Experience in working with DNS, NTP, SAML, oAuth 2, or Active Directory
-Experience with Windows deployment, automation, and related technologies
-Experience with a database, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MSSQL and messaging middleware technologies, including RabbitMQ
-Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics, including NewRelic, AppDynamics, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, vROPS, or Datadog
-Knowledge of Linux or UNIX systems
-Pivotal Certification or training a plus
