Position, Navigation, and Timing/RF Engineer Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Provide expertise across the Research and Development (R&D) program planning life cycle. Consult R&D and Science and Technology (S&T) organizations on the best-of-class and enterprise mandated or prescribed policies, processes, and procedures to define, develop, acquire, and field prototype and demonstration systems or knowledge product and services to satisfy stakeholder needs, including first responder R&D sponsors, S&T constituents, and end-users. Consult on the application of strategies and processes across a logical grouping of programs to ensure strategic alignment with agency objectives and reduce investment overlaps. Apply knowledge and integrated expertise across the S&T domain and within the R&D enterprise, demonstrating experience with industry challenges and best practices. Assist clients by analyzing the development of policy, requirements, and guidelines for GPS and equivalent PNT systems within the PNT enterprise or RF engineering, spectrum analysis, jamming, and modulation technologies, including developing, publishing, and maintaining documentation. Assist clients with the research, assessment, analysis, development, review, and coordination of reports and responses to congressional inquiries. Assist clients with the coordination of these reports and responses within the interagency.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with providing technical support to the client's electronic jamming and Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) projects, including collaboration with existing program SETA support to the project

-Experience with RF engineering, spectrum analysis, jamming, and modulation technologies

-Ability to review submitted proposals and whitepapers and provide critical technical input to enhance the project and mitigate potential issues

-Ability to provide technical review and comments on deliverables to ensure all documents add value to the respective project, as needed

-Experience with general program planning and program management activities in accordance with the PMBOK

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using SharePoint 2013

-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-DHS Suitability

-PMP Certification preferred


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
