Power Utility Focused Business Leader

Key Role:
Design, manage, maintain, and grow customer accounts and lead account teams through the entire client engagement process, including relationship building, marketing, opportunity shaping, proposal development, and delivery and execution oversight. Work closely with the VP of energy, fellow account leaders, account managers, and account teams in a highly collaborative environment. Stay highly engaged with security leaders in the power generation and transmission industry and lead combined capability or domain teams in the generation of tangible customer value, growth, and additional revenue. Provide strategic direction to account teams as the holistic owner of key customer relationships and lead a team of account managers responsible and accountable for the overall relationship with designated accounts. Participate and provide thought leadership in the establishment, review, and revision of the firm’s go-to-market strategy in the area of power utility security transformation. Play a leadership role in professional communities, strategic, firm-wide projects, and investment opportunities related to subject matter expertise, share expertise with others, and mentor and develop up-and-coming professionals in their fields of endeavor. Leverage energy utility expertise, including IT and OT expertise, to lead large and complex client engagements for consulting and services in Cybersecurity, lead Cybersecurity-related engagements for energy clients, represent Booz Allen at industry and association events, and bring existing client relationships to develop new leads and increase revenue with energy utility clients.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with utility account growth and leadership at levels exceeding $20 million per year in revenue

-Experience with forces driving changes in utility operations and business models

-Knowledge of current utility business models and utility operations

-Ability to show a proven track record of success leading account teams through the entire client engagement process, including relationship building, marketing, opportunity shaping, proposal development, and delivery and execution oversight

-Ability to operate in a technology firm in the professional services space

-Ability to show a track record of initiating and sustaining excellent customer relationships with utility or major commercial clients

-BA o BS degree or 15 years of experience with the energy and utility industry


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with engineering or data analytics services in the energy utility space

-Ability to show meaningful engagement in the energy utility industry or Cybersecurity associations

-MA or MS degree or 20 years of experience in a relevant industry preferred
