PPBE Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze financial data related to operations, business performance, opportunities, and investments. Gather and interpret financial data and develop recommendations and reports for management. Serve as a subject-matter expert in the job family. Oversee the planning and implementation of large programs in the function and regularly interface with senior management and executive leadership. Provide advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise. Play a role in overall functional strategic planning.

Basic Qualifications: ​

-15 years of experience with working as Active or Reserve Duty, DoD civilian, or defense contractor

-15 years of experience with data collection, modeling, and analysis​

-3 years of experience as a member of a POM development or integration team in at least one the following areas: Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, unmanned systems, information technology (IT), space systems, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Electronic Warfare (EW), Cyber, or Meteorology or Precise Time and Astrometry

-Experience with the Navy’s Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process, including POM and budget development and analysis

-Experience with analyzing large datasets to build and maintain analytical models for client staff 

-Experience with project management processes, tools, and techniques​

-Ability to provide insightful feedback and thoughts on the analysis to senior leaders​

-Secret clearance required​

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications: ​

-Knowledge of Navy programs​

-Ability be proactive, take ownership of responsibilities, and operate with minimal supervision while being an active and thoughtful member of the team

-Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, manage processes, develop agendas, and briefs and coordinate conferences
