Product Lead

Key Role:

Develop a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end-of-life while participating in the research, design, development, test, implementation, and marketing as the products move through their life cycle. Design, modify, and evaluate of all phases of a specific product or group of products and provide input in the formulation and execution of long-term plans for cost or profit control. Promote the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends, apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts, contribute to development of new principles and concepts, work on unusually complex technical problems, and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. Work toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain the preferred results. Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product. Serve as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects or programs while acting as an advisor to management and clients on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in a product-focused business with a track record of driving strategy, customer experience, e-commerce capabilities, and performance management

-Experience with gathering and transforming client or business needs into actionable requirements

-Experience with presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive client escalations

-Experience with guiding start-up businesses across the maturity life cycle

-Knowledge of client transactions and communication, operational work flows, and Internet technologies

-Ability to assess and evaluate technical, operational, financial, and reputational risks and opportunities and translate these into business recommendations 

-Ability to excite and lead others in a highly collaborative environment

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree preferred
