Product Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Build products from existing ideas, help develop new ideas based on industry experience, including contact customers and prospects, and provide a unique blend of business and technical savvy with a big-picture vision. Work with a technical product owner to define product release requirements and work with a product marketing manager to define the go-to-market strategy, including working with a sales team to provide guidance on product positioning. Provide valuable customer feedback for product development and serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product, including interacting with customers, the media, and Booz Allen’s 20,000+ person consulting force.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with software product management

-Experience with managing project costs or budgets, schedules, risks, and resources

-Experience with meeting facilitation

-Ability to demonstrate expertise in the values stated in the Agile Manifesto and creative ways of delivering value to clients

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with JIRA and Confluence

-Experience with helping teams transition from a Waterfall methodology to an Agile software development methodology

-Experience working with distributed teams

-Experience with teaching technical teams basic Agile framework concepts

-Knowledge of multiple Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and XP

-Ability to build and grow cross-functional teams

-Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

-ITIL Certification

-PMP Certification preferred
