Product Manager, Senior

Key Role:
Perform as a senior product manager and lead a team to develop business cases, product strategies, and technology roadmaps. Interact frequently with multiple stakeholder groups to identify and prioritize new products and initiatives based on business needs. Oversee the product life cycle, establish a shared vision by building consensus on priorities, serve as an advisor to your customer, and advocate industry best practices. Define product vision and goals, assist with the identification of best solutions, and develop and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and user stories to address business needs. Collaborate with highly creative UX experts to identify product features and solutions and work with data analysts to collect and analyze metrics and make data-driven decisions for product optimization. Serve as the Rosetta Stone between technical development teams and non-technical C-level audiences to ensure understanding and alignment of technical and business requirements and break-down complex problems to drive product development. Develop frameworks and methodologies, institutionalize industry best practices, and mentor and manage team members.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience as a product manager, developing product portfolios of increasing size and reach in commercial and federal environments

-3+ years of experience with conducting market and competitive assessments of potential solutions to identify competitive positioning, market differentiation, and appropriate business models

-3+ years of experience with analyzing data, determining key performance indicators (KPIs), and making data-driven decisions

-Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies and presenting technical deliverables, analysis, and recommendations to non-technical or C-level audiences

-Knowledge of user-centered design, Lean principles, Agile processes, emerging technology, and market trends and the impact it has on products and business value

-Ability to gather and refine business needs with clients and end users and translate into functional requirements, uses cases, and product features

-Ability to comprehend and communicate complex and technical concepts quickly

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with crafting a vision and corresponding client experiences to communicate an end goal to internal teams and value to clients

-Experience with digital agency, consulting, or entrepreneurial expertise preferred

-Knowledge of user experience, data analysis, and technical and business issues

-Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance

-Ability to develop product strategies and communicate recommendations to executives effectively

-Ability to influence cross-functional teams to work in harmony and achieve a common goal

-BS degree in Business, Management Information Systems, CS, Engineering, or a related field preferred; MBA degree a plus

-Agile Training Certifications, including IC Agile Certified, Certified Scrum Product Owner, or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager preferred
