Production and Dissemination Technician

Key Role:

Facilitate the movement of appropriately marked intelligence products between security domains between the United States European Command, its directorates, components, the Joint Analysis Center (JAC), allies, and the defense intelligence enterprise. Provide client support to resolve end user problems and provide one-to-one desk side support for advanced user requirements. Provide Web site maintenance by identifying, repairing, or seeking additional assistance with broken Web site links. Support the training of incoming government and contractor personnel by providing customer support information and assistance and supporting the development of lesson plans and training courses. Verify that appropriately marked intelligence products have been successfully posted to the appropriate Web sites and Web services. Log potential inadvertent security incidents and use and maintain site standard operation procedures (SOPs) in accordance with the DoD and IC clients' policy and guidance.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with military or national intelligence analysis and production

-3+ years of experience in working with analytic products or foreign disclosure and classification

-Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines under fast-paced conditions and perform duties in a multiple-shift environment

-Ability to identify inconsistencies in products between overall classification, portion marks, and dissemination level, ensure declassification data is correct, and consult with the author to verify and fix

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with providing excellent customer service by clearly and concisely communicating work status, methods, instructions, problems, requirements, options, and concerns with team members, managers, and clients in the intelligence community

-Experience with providing quality control in accordance with IC policy and standards

-Experience with participating in meetings with clients, team members, contractors, and others to exchange information, make decisions, or provide updates

-Ability to perform shift work, if requested by US government

-Ability to verify classifications provided by analysts or direct them to classification management teams

-Ability to coordinate and disseminate finished intelligence products, as required
-Possession of excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and grammar skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
