Production Planning Scheduler

Key Role:

Serve as a production planner and scheduler for an Army client working on Systems of Systems Integration and Engineering to develop schedules and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) for scheduled activities, including Architecture and Engineering efforts, Network Integration Evaluations, Capability Set (CS) Synchronized Fieldings (SFs), and efforts supporting the Army Modernization Plan. Develop and maintain schedules using the government provided Primavera P6 software scheduling tool. Review and analyze schedules from other scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project and incorporate scheduling information in the Primavera system schedules, ensuring that schedules within the IMS are integrated vertically and horizontally. Analyze sub–schedule performance against the baseline IMS, identify schedule risks, and report any issues. Analyze schedule performance against schedule baseline and identify variances and their causes and risks and impacts to the critical path. Prepare and conduct briefings, as required. This position is located in Warren, MI.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with scheduling and developing, analyzing, and reporting project schedules using a scheduling tool, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Open Plan

-3+ years of experience with performing scheduling for a federal government program

-1+ years of experience with using Primavera as a scheduler or completion of formal, classroom training in Primavera

-6+ months of experience with using Primavera as a scheduler

-Experience in working with one scheduling project for at least one year in duration that had at least 5,000 activities

-Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Army PEO or PM support

-Knowledge of Army Staff procedures and DoD Acquisition Regulations and Instructions

-BA or BS degree
