Program Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Perform as the task specialist for an assigned project and maintain responsibility for technical activities or analyses. Provide analytical support to the government client, supporting their foreign military sales and associate support agreement services, provide expert review of pending, in-process, and finalized purchases of military equipment to international clients, and support meetings with representatives from current or potential international clients, discussing the procurement of equipment and associated support. Assist with the continued definition and revision of important program documentation. Expedite outstanding information and equipment applications, including drafting correspondence to international representatives. Track applications through the procurement process, identifying delayed procurements and recommending solutions to expedite the process, including drafting correspondence when appropriate. Prepare and maintain client statistics to provide complete tracking from application receipt through product delivery and installation. Maintain and distribute the tracking matrix for international client applications and government decisions to collect or waive levies on all pending sales.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with government contracts management

-Experience in a Government Acquisition Program Office

-Experience with Microsoft Office applications

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with interpreting and consolidating various team member reviews of Basis of Estimates in various technical proposals

-Experience in reviewing technical documents and contract data requirements list items to ensure compliance with various delivery orders

-Experience in drafting, editing, and tracking acquisition products with minimal direction, including government letters, statements of work, contract data requirements list items, request for proposal packages, monthly status reports or terminal deliveries, fair opportunity exemptions, and program briefs

-Experience with managing correspondence, including drafting, routing, and tracking responses

-Experience with drafting approval or rejection letters and technical direction letters

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills appropriate to work in a large multi-national program office

-MBA degree

-Federal Acquisition Regulations Training

-Business or Program Management Certification

-Defense Acquisition University Acquisition Level II or equivalent certification
