Program Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Provide program management support to a DoD client. Analyze the production of point papers, briefings, senior and flag-level technical correspondence, and interviewing and speaking engagement preparation, including pre-screening read-aheads, preparing executive summaries to outline key issues, as requested, and providing recommendations. Participate in program management and project meetings, conferences, and reviews, including preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and tracking action items and analyze the development and preparation of executive-level briefs and presentations. Support competency strategic plans, including near-term action and communications plans and long-term strategies. Coordinate and participate in working groups, meetings, and conferences internal and external to the client’s enterprise, including supporting acquisition, execution, production, and integration efforts at working group meetings, integrated product teams (IPTs), in-process reviews, and other meetings and analyze the information, including programmatic impacts, as required. Manage action items, including timely responses to external and internal inquiries, data calls, and program and project status updates.

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with program or project management in a DoD environment
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Ability to facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client and organize and execute client meetings
-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with DoD acquisition programs and policies
-Knowledge of the DoD Modernization Process (NMP)
-Knowledge of modernization planning tools
-Ability to show creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management and acquisition support
-Ability to self-start, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
-Ability to be team-oriented
-Possession of excellent team-building skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree or 12 years as a project manager for the military
