Program Control Analyst, Lead

Key Role:
Manage, prepare, administer, and analyze the control of the budget and forecasts for a Booz Allen Civil subaccount. Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control, including providing relevant fiscal information to the executive management team. Monitor the subaccount and department’s adherence to approved budgets and be involved in analyzing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may have a company-wide effect. Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Develop competency in project and financial management and be more involved in managing teams and formulating business strategy. Guide the progress of projects while mentoring junior staff in both firm and technical competencies as a project manager.

Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience with program and project financial management
-Experience with government contracting

-Experience managing staff
-Knowledge of GAAP and public company SEC guidance
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and their effective use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment
-Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
-Ability to respond to directed assignments, think analytically, and comprehend financial implications of the business

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to lead a team, learn and teach fundamentals supporting program management activities, work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including discussing and resolving administrative and financial issues with the team effectively
