Program Control Analyst

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large and complex programs, organizations, or proposals. Participate in budget preparation and authorize budget expenditures within Booz Allen Hamilton. Recommend procedures to be used to monitor programs, organizations, or proposals. Interpret and implement cost proposal estimating, pricing, and documentation requirements. Define the parameters for estimate preparation. Provide work leadership for junior employees.


Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience as a project or program control analyst with a DoD contracting firm
-Experience in monitoring compliance with general contract terms and conditions for government contracts and supporting multiple clients in a fast–paced environment
-Experience with subcontractor and vendor management, including reading and interpreting SOWs, monitoring funding allocations, and reviewing and approving invoices
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros and advanced formulas and their use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment
-Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with financial modeling, including funding analyses and cost and revenue projections
-Experience with proposal support, including responding to RFPs and supporting cost volume development for competitive procurements preferred
-Ability to learn fundamentals related to the support of program management activities
-Ability to identify program risks and assist with associated mitigation plans and identifying and prioritizing requirements
-Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple sources, summarize it appropriately, and read and interpret contractual requirements
-Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
