Program Director, Senior

Key Role:

Deliver senior-level technical program oversight and thought leadership to drive the delivery of a large-scale system modernization effort, including the transition of the modernized system to a production environment and subsequent operations and maintenance (O&M) activities. Manage the client relationship by building a rapport and directly interfacing with senior client technical and business executives. Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly program status briefings to a diverse audience of senior business and technical program stakeholders. Build a sustainable program management organization and oversee the activities of a team of 70-100 FTEs dispersed across the client site and one or more remote delivery locations. Orchestrate the activities of requirements, development, quality assurance, transition, and operations sub-teams, ensuring that sub-team activities are coordinated to deliver optimal results to the customer. Employ effective risk management practices to proactively identify and mitigate key program risks. Serve as a primary interface with multiple business management departments, including finance, subcontracting, contracting, purchasing, and recruiting.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with delivering executive leadership and oversight of integrated IT services programs and organizations, including infrastructure, security, systems engineering, system modernization, production rollout of new systems, and operations and maintenance

-10+ years of experience with federal government program and project management

-10+ years of experience in interfacing with and presenting to C-level executives

-Experience with leading the modernization and successful rollout of at least one large-scale, mission critical system of $50M+ total contract value

-Knowledge of modern systems development and emerging technologies

-Ability to assess and articulate business value to technical and non-technical business stakeholders

-Public Trust clearance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) or in a similar role in a technical executive leadership role preferred

-MA or MS degree in Project Management or a technical field preferred

-PMI PMP or PgMP Certification preferred
