Program Director

Key Role:

Lead the market assessment, capture, and delivery of Army programs with clients, teammates, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Leverage expertise in DoD and Army to lead large-scale engagements and solutioning efforts with teammates, vendors, and internal partners to bring innovation to the Army that increases lethality and survivability for soldiers. Translate comprehension of current and future strategic, operational, and tactical challenges facing the soldier to business development initiatives. Provide technical leadership to solve problems and architect future technological solutions to create products and services to modernize the Army. Lead and represent a diverse team in creating, designing, and implementing agreements and arrangements with and within client organizations, including mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and performance standards. Inspire, motivate, and develop high-energy teams to excel through transition and change.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with the Army mission

-15 years of experience with progressive leadership, including leading cross-functional teams, such as technical and non-technical professionals

-Experience with Army programs and supporting systems

-Knowledge of the systems engineering management process and its implementation, as applied to the Department of Army and DoD acquisition processes throughout all life cycle phases

-Knowledge of DoD policies on systems engineering, integrated product and process development (IPPD), and integrated product team (IPT) management

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, machine learning, sensor integration, electro-optics, radio frequency, or mobile communications

-Knowledge of microservices architecture and platforms

-Ability to apply Cybersecurity engineering methods to solutions development life cycle activities

-Possession of excellent presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

-MA or MS degree preferred
