Program Manager

Key Role:

Manage a large customer program or project. Focus on non-technical aspects of program and project management, including analyzing budgets, resources, and schedules. Balance customer requirements and internal and third party resources. Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas, work on unusually complex problems, and provide highly creative solutions. Use independent judgment to accomplish objectives. Serve as an organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs and act as prime leader on large programs or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
 

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with leading a diverse and sometimes geographically disparate collection of engineering and science professionals, including supervising task managers in the execution of their assigned duties

-10+ years of experience with planning, directing, coordinating, and managing administrative activities of contracts, including reviewing and maintaining the quality of technical work performed on programs and assuring and monitoring the quality of all work products and deliverables

-10+ years of experience with electromagnetics, RF, precision tracking systems, shipboard countermeasures, image and sensor fusion, image and signal processing, modeling and simulation, and test and evaluation

-Experience with controlling budget, schedule, and task execution

-Experience with managing subcontractors

-Experience with both establishing and maintain trusting client relationships and developing innovative ways to meet client needs and requirements

-Experience with developing risk mitigation strategies

-Experience with independently performing detailed qualitative or quantitative analyses to develop recommendations that address challenges or issues

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems

-BS or BB degree in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical field

-Program Management Professional (PMP) and completion of Defense Acquisition University (DAU) courses or equivalent

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
