Program Manager

Key Role:

Assist the program manager in the management of day-to-day program activities, including integrated master scheduling, contract actions, such as proposal technical evaluations and materials or labor hours estimating, action item resolution, execution of requirements and plans, management of technical or program-related issues, development of comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plans, and test support, such as operational assessment of advanced technologies. Create and assist with developing acquisition program documentation required by DoD 5000 series supporting program efforts and acquisition milestones or reviews, applying knowledge of streamlined acquisition policies and procedures and program management expertise. Assist with the definition, development, documentation, and management of user requirements, building on existing requirements management processes to identify, review, and approve inherent and new capability needs to support a larger user community and enterprise objectives, including assisting with conducting Industry Days, user or requirement working groups, and developing implementation strategies. Support the development of strategies and associated budgets to efficiently and effectively execute programs, planning, facilitation, coordination of agendas, action items, and technical or program issues related to management, technical, and test reviews, including requirements and design reviews, audits, and requirements meetings. Assist with the development and execution of strategies and budgets to efficiently execute programs. Monitor the effectiveness of achieving program or enterprise goals and objectives, including monitoring cost, schedule, and technical performance and associated risks. Prepare and update briefings and reports, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with government acquisitions

-Experience with software or IT program-related cost, schedule, or technical management work required

-Experience with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required

-Knowledge of DoD 5000 Series Defense Acquisition System Documentation

-Ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role and work independently with minimal supervision

-Ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor support

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to perform frequent travel within CONUS, potentially 2-4 days per month

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
