Program Operations Manager

Key Role:

Work with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients from various DoD and other government agencies to architect and plan large-scale space and ground C4ISR system acquisition programs. Help the Air Force to integrate the GPS system across a large stakeholder community and manage technical projects, including performance, cost, schedule, and risk. Execute portions of the acquisition management process for DoD acquisitions at the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC). Prepare, process, and review various acquisition documents to ensure compliance with established processes and policies. Liaise with higher headquarters and in IPTs to meet and satisfy task requirements. Provide acquisition support to key milestones, technical boards, test events, and design reviews. Implement DoD 5000.02 acquisition directives and ensure compliance within the program office.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, program management, and business operations

-Experience with project management

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments

-Ability to interface with internal and external customers

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Military C4ISR systems

-Experience with the DoD acquisition system

-Experience with GPS and navigation technologies and systems

-Experience in working with new technology programs for embedded systems

-Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II or higher Certification
