Program Protection Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Act as a technical expert for multiple specialized information protection and acquisition security programs supporting major DoD, and classified or highly sensitive USAF defense acquisition and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) sensor programs. Assist with providing a wide range of security management, analytical, technical, and support services for specific ISR programs. Administer physical, information, industrial, personnel, and operations security programs, as applied to assigned acquisition activities or systems. Guide and assist integrated process teams with the areas of physical, information, industrial, personnel, and operations. Implement the Cybersecurity or Risk Management Framework for programs assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with program protection

-Experience with analyzing and maintaining time-phased, event-driven security classification guides (SCGs)

-Knowledge of program security directives (PSDs)

-Knowledge of technology assessment (TAs) and control plans (CPs) or program protection plans (PPPs)

-Knowledge of processes used to identify Critical Program Information (CPI) by identifying all plans, designs, processes, equipment, procedures, materials, or information that must be protected

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Security Professional Education (SPeD) SFPC certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with identifying and validating mission security needs through the evaluation or development of security elements of applicable programs

-Knowledge of the JCIDS process and DoDI 5000 series documents and system security engineering and program protection planning efforts

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
