Program Support Specialist

Key Role:
Serve as a member of a US Army client's staff and provide operational support to all assigned military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Maintain responsibility for critical organization, prioritization, and scheduling for the BMD chief and other senior managers, including leading the management of organizational milestones by driving taskers, data calls, tracking milestones and key deliverables, and managing expectations through interactive communications. Support implementation and operations management best practices while taking ownership of tasks or project workstreams. Monitor program execution by appropriation and performer, prepare analyses and reports, develop spreadsheets and routine program analyses, maintain tracking databases, generate reports and documentation, as directed, and perform other general administrative and program management tasks, as directed by the client. Provide analytical support for budgetary, administrative, and statistical budget formulation activities. Coordinate and provide personnel support for in-processing and out-processing and submit and track documents that require staffing. Review and provide input on program-level policies and procedures, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and local office policies and ensure conformance with client and locally published policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with providing executive-level administrative support to a DoD office
-Experience with using Microsoft Office suite at the expert level, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Experience with inputting, retrieving, and analyzing data
-Ability to direct and coordinate operations
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to manage small engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence
-Active Secret clearance required

Additional Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with providing executive-level administrative support to an Army office preferred
-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
-Experience with Lean methodologies
-Experience with preparing briefings and reports appropriate for senior government executives
-Ability to respond to quick-turn requests
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
-Possession of excellent time management skills
-AA or AS degree
