Project Adviser, Senior

Key Role:

Collect and analyze information and data to develop policies, directives, doctrine, and standard operating procedures guiding the design, implementation, and modification of programs related to maritime law enforcement, maritime information sharing, and maritime security. Provide direct support to the client office to improve maritime domain awareness through technology infusions, exercises, and other engagement activities that are aligned to the USPACOM Theater Campaign Plan and the USPACFLT Theater Campaign Order. Assist the country team and theater security cooperation planners with the development of country engagement plans aligned to higher headquarters guidance and directives. Lead planning efforts that support exercise enhancement and realism using leased or excess defense articles. Develop and submit periodic situation reports pertaining to the host nation’s maritime security status to the country team and USPACFLT.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel
-5+ years of experience in a managerial role
-Experience with preparing and presenting formal documents to senior government officials
-Experience with maritime activities, including maritime security and maritime security cooperation in the Asia Pacific region
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in a Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) security cooperation program or US Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC)

-MA or MS degree

-Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS) graduate
