Project Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support all phases of the program management life cycle for a DoD client program office, including formulating analysis of a budget and program plan, developing acquisition documentation, monitoring task execution, and identifying and mitigating risk. Develop program risk mitigation strategies and author programmatic and acquisition documentation and presentations in support of program decisions or milestone reviews research acquisition policy. Interact with diverse functional teams in an IPT environment, and author acquisition documentation and presentations to support program decisions and milestone reviews. Support the management of program budgets, analyze execution reports, and provide output of analysis on regular basis. Coordinate with functional subject matter expert on program documentation to facilitate program requirements. Facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client and organize and execute client meetings, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with program or project management in a DoD and SPAWAR environment

-Experience with qualitative and quantitative risk management fundamentals, including monitoring cost, schedule, and performance of programs under the Defense Acquisition System

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of DoD and SECNAV 5000 instruction

-Ability to coordinate with functional subject matter expert on program documentation to facilitate program requirements

-Ability to facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client, and organize and execute client meetings

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the military preferred

-Experience with Navy, SPAWAR, or PEO C4I programs and policies

-Ability to show creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management and acquisition support

-Ability to self-start, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision

-Ability to be team-oriented

-Possession of excellent team-building skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree
