Project Control Analyst, Mid

Key Role:
Perform a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large and complex programs, organizations, or proposals, provide analytical support for budget preparation, and support budget expenditures within Booz Allen Hamilton. Recommend procedures to be used to monitor programs, organizations, or proposals, interpret and implement cost proposal estimating, pricing, and documentation requirements, define parameters for estimate preparation, and provide work leadership to junior employees. Work as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team of professionals, including providing financial solutions to the client team within the defense market and acting as the primary interface for routine and ad-hoc program financial risk management activities. Provide financial oversight to subcontractors and independent consultants, including invoice and funding requirement reviews and approvals. Provide financial information, and present materials to support internal and external PMRs and MSRs. Assist program and job managers with revenue forecasts and coordinate funding requirements with internal and external business partners. Provide support to contract and task order kickoff meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate set up of new tasks and lead efforts associated with estimating and tracking financial information and managing spend plans for multiple programs.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with financial management support in a government contracting environment

-Experience in monitoring compliance with general contract terms and conditions for government contracts, and supporting multiple clients in a fast-paced environment

-Experience with subcontractor and vendor management, including reading and interpreting statements of work (SOWs), monitoring funding allocations, and reviewing and approving invoices

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and their use in financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environments

-Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with providing program control in a government contracting environment

-Experience with financial modeling, including waterfalls and revenue projections

-Experience with proposal support, including responding to RFPs, and supporting cost volume development for competitive procurements

-Experience with GAAP

-Experience with cost accounting in a DoD environment, including Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements

-Experience with project or program management, including Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) requirements

-Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications

-Ability to learn and teach fundamentals related to the support of program management activities

-Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
